being indie and urban is so cool.
guys.
really.
if you own/do/like/whatever more than 5 of this things then you're probably SO indie that it hurts (just like everyone else).
leather/string bracelets. it makes you "unique" and adds personality. the more the better.
self explanatory and hysterical.
is coffee really that good?
they must emit less exhaust or something. GO GREEN!
"we're going out to sushi"
they're not cute. horrid tan lines. but you must be way outdoorsy.
cause natural is the only way to be. boo preservatives.
peace signs: the first stage of being indie.
yoga.
take it OFF of the back of your car right now.
how many pair do YOU own?
i double-bag my milk. thanks for saving the planet for the both of us with your reusable shopping bags.
slouchy beanies--must be worn year-round no matter what the weather.
are they really?
that's sad.
it's alright to feel cool in this store, or say "i got it at urban" cause DUH who doesn't know you must be referring to urban outfitters.
admit it. we all think we look hot in thick black framed glasses. (obviously she does). but doesn't this fact make it funny when you see everyone with their slouchy beanies, skinny ties, or giant scarves wearing them?
p.s. nice lip gloss.
WOW that's so retro. did you restore it?
you might look cool but get real--it itches more than a wool sweater with an irritating tag.
why? no.
everything looks better in an antiqued polaroid, right?
i'll admit i own/do/like/whatever quite a few of these things, but whatever. i don't recycle. and i LOVE aerosols and styrofoam.
maybe we'll run into each other at open mic night at downtown coffee break and we can chat about the environment ;)
p.s. bras are necessary, girls.
p.s.s. this is not meant to offend anyone in any way. i am sorry ahead of time, no need to leave a comment and tell me that.

Hahaha the slouchy beanies. Ugh they're the worst...I've worn a v-neck a few times, but I feel like that and skinnies are another custom Indie look...or the shoes with openings for each toe...and spot on with the coffee shops...I feel like they all love getting together to play pool or go to Harry-O's in Park City....and well done with the UNDERGROUND music loving...and for some reason they hate popular music, but only because lots of people love it...
ReplyDeletebest. post. ever. haha
ReplyDeleteI feel like that last comment was aimed at me.
ReplyDeletehaahah Maren, no. Petals are considered bras in my mind. There are some people at the U, generally art majors, who flat out don't wear bras.
ReplyDeleteYou're confusing indie and hippy which are two very different things. Also, people with dreads take showers and wash their hair. Just no brushing.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of sarcasm in this post, I'm sorry if I got something wrong.
