[too personalized]

there are so many cool things that can be personalized in the world today, but some need to be left alone, the generic way.

like:

[ringback tones]

if you call someone expecting a regular dial tone but hear "hips don't lie" it's awkward when they pick up...

[debit cards]

have you ever worked at a store where you take someones debit card to charge them and they have those personalized pictures that are just....too personal?

you feel like you have to say "oh my gosh cute cat" even if you are gagging.

....and the dob on her drivers' license is 1952.

this shouldn't shown in public, talked about it public, or ever done.

i don't care if "dogs have cleaner mouths than humans".

[ringtones]

normal looking people having ringtones like:
because i got high by afroman
star trek theme song
etc.

[license plates]

[facebook checkins]

if i wanted to know where you were, i would text you so we could meet up. 

if i wanted to stalk you like a creep, i would check your latest facebook checkin

just leave facebook for "reconnecting" and stalking pictures, not locations :/

[license plate frames]

these frames just wouldn't be spotted on the cars of normal people...

[voicemails]

sometimes people just give out too much information about themselves. 

all it needs to say is "hi this is regina and i can't come to the phone, sorry"

but instead it says something like "hi this is regina i'm terribly sorry that i missed your call, i am either in the shower, feeding the cows, sleeping, exercising, getting the mail or grocery shopping! leave me a detailed message and i will call you back as soon as i can! have an excellent day because you deserve it!"

see how useless most of that information was?
