- wallet stolen from car, containing:
- drivers license
- credit card
- debit card
- temple recommend
- university id
- trax pass
- a free meal to cafe rio (mostly upset about this one)
- $50 cash
- social security card
- and of course, the best wallet i've ever had.
the next day i am heading over to st thomas to visit my bff's. well, no id, no card. thank goodness for a passport and parents who can give me a bit of cash along with a credit card that ends up not working.
then to top it off my toenail got crushed in st thomas and came off. oh and my phone stopped working. so i got a new battery. then it stopped working again. so i am using a light blue chocolate and texting the old fashioned way.
so while in st thomas i had no phone. no drivers license. and no debit/credit card for emergencies. hopeless. but STILL had a great time.
got a milkshake here four times.
karaoke: fergalicious
read two books.
rode a scooter and saw some ok views.
met a thug with dreads to his ankles.
went dancing at fat turtles, ages 18-92 welcome.
saw a firedancer.
sat in a cave looking at the carribean sea and atlantic ocean with katherine.
chilled in a hammock with hill.
watched a sunset from paradise point.
joined the circus.
went to st john.
then i came home to get a new drivers' license only to find out i can get my 21 year old/adult one 6 months early! so the thief actually didn't cause me ALL that much inconvenience after all.

Look on the bright side:
ReplyDelete-your phone was a joke anyway. "Hey Erinn, your phone is probably doing the stupid silence thing but I was just calling to tell you...."
-You're right, the thief didn't cause you ALL that much inconvenience, just your identity.
-At least you can cancel debit/credit cards. It could have been $51 cash or more.
-How nice of your parents to give you "a bit of cash". Like $200, daddy's girl?
-At least you still have 9 more toenails.
The worst thing about this is definitely the ipod and the free meal. I know what it's like to have your ipod stollen......
