- drive your friend's car over shattered glass.
- continue to drive your friend's car for a solid 20 minutes wondering why the "alignment" is so off.
- try to pinpoint all of the possible things that "tire light" could imply. seriously, think hard.
- turn down a sketchy alley near liberty park to check if your tire is flat.
- call your mom.
- check in on facebook.
- "grow up" and get out the manual.
- find the itty-bitty spare tire in the trunk and use all of your strength to lug it out.
- begin to follow directions in the manual.
- text a few people.
- struggle with the tools, and then realize how weak you are.
- turn on some music even though it tells you to turn the car completely off.
- have a nice man drive by, talk to you, park, get out of his car, and then wave and walk inside his house.
- take a lot of pictures.
- be sure to keep your eyes out for a man in flannel and crocks approaching. it could startle you.
- meet "keith", the friendliest man ever. he even put out his cig while helping us.
- awkwardly make conversation and stand then while keith changes your tire for you.
- take some more pictures to document the event.
- follow keith home so that you can get his address for a thank you note.
- send keith a thank you note. bless his heart. and ours--we tried, and learned.
