Video games. How is it that they get the best of so many people? It got me back in the 6th grade. When I used to practice the piano in elementary my mom would bribe me with "points". With my points I bought a Nintendo-64. As soon as the Nintendo was in the house I quit piano. Story ends there. My roommate has a friend who skipped days of school to stay inside their apartment and play Zelda. When my family got a Play Station 2 for Christmas one year my brother literally cried. It's on film and hopefully going in his wedding video. Those dumb video games get the best of boys.
I'll admit that there are a few games that have wasted my time as my hands cramp up and sweat like crazy. Guitar Hero occupied the majority of my Christmas Break of my Jr. year of high school. Mario Kart is the only game girls like. Call us stupid, but I don't like the rest. Girls also call every gaming system a Nintendo, and probably will forever.
Girls want boys who are good at video games as much as boys want girls who are good at spending their money. Which is something I'm good at, so I'm sorry to my future husband--but I can stop if you can stop. And I apologize for the negativity, just on my mind. Someone can hate on girls for being obsessed with Pinterest.
I have been corrected SO many times for calling everything "nintendo" instead of play station, xbox, etc. I don't know the difference between them. I know what the wii is, and the rest are nintendo.
